Our Mission “Wilson Montessori PTO works to strengthen, enhance and encourage the educational and social environment of Wilson Montessori School. PTO goals are to complement the Montessori curriculum with additional opportunities for parents, teachers and students to learn, socialize, communicate and grow."
The Wilson Montessori Parent Teacher Organization is comprised of parents and guardians of Wilson students, teachers, and staff who are committed to serving the Wilson community to ensure a rich and meaningful educational experience for our students.
Wilson Montessori PTO works with Friends of Montessori (FOM) to raise money to provide every classroom with Montessori materials. Since Wilson’s entire campus is Montessori, the PTO and Friends of Montessori at Wilson work closely together to serve all classrooms and students.
PTO General Meetings are held 4 times throughout the school year in the auditorium at 6:00pm on Sept. 3, Dec. 15, Feb. 2, and Apr. 6.
PTO Board Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5:30 in the library.
About Wilson Montessori Woodrow Wilson Montessori School is Houston’s first public all-Montessori campus. Wilson Montessori currently serves students ages 3-12, in Pre-K through 8th grade in both English and Bilingual classrooms. The Montessori classroom is a specially designed environment in which children develop a community over a three-year period together. In addition, children experience a spiraling, connected curriculum founded on Montessori principles where they develop a love for learning through self-directed work and thought.
Wilson Montessori is committed to creating a student-centered learning environment that seeks to nurture the unique creativity of each child through the efforts of a dedicated and caring staff, parents and community. The learning environment focuses on strategies aimed at helping students achieve academic excellence and become responsible life-long learners and contributing members of society.

Join us Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Fish City Grill. 5172 Buffalo Speeway (at West Park). FOM/Wilson will receive 20% of all orders to send our teachers to the AMS conference.
Join us for our Wilson Playdate! Saturday., Feb. 20, 10:00am-12:00. Bring your family, friends, balls, Frisbees, picnic and blankets to the Wilson playgrounds for a day of play.
Student Directories are in! All prepaid directories were delivered to teachers and should come home with students. Directories are $5. Order Forms are available on the PTO bulletin board. Download here (PDF).
Order NEW Spirit Items! We are taking pre-orders for new Polos, long-sleeve Polos, and zipper hooded sweatshirts (“hoodies”). All are navy with the golden embroidered logo below on the front left chest.

Items will be delivered to classrooms the week of Mar. 1. We will order the items that were pre-ordered, and just a few extras of each, so take advantage of this opportunity to get your spirit items! There are samples of each item in the main office (not all sizes—just one of each style to see & feel).
