Go Texan Day!: Friday, February 26th

Wear your cowboy or cowgirl clothes to school this Friday. But please leave your horses, toy guns and spurs at home – we’re a peaceful community!

box-tops-for-education.jpgBox Tops for Education

The Box Tops for Educations deadline to reach our goal of $1000 is this Friday, February 26th. Please round up those box tops, trim them close, check the expiration date and drop them into the Box Tops for Education locker located around the corner from the main office, next to the Lost & Found and PTO lockers. Every cent counts with budget cuts looming large. Thanks for your participation in this easy way to raise a bit money for our school.

2016_WilsonGala_Email_Square_Rev.jpgWilson Goes West Auction Items Needed

The Wilson Goes West auction is right around the corner and we need all the help we can get soliciting sponsors and donations items for the event. Do you have unused frequent flyers miles you can donate? How about a vacation property or timeshare we might use to auction off for a weekend getaway? Do you have friends in high place? A personal chef who might be willing to donate a private dinner? Box seats to a sporting event? ‘Experience’ packages tend to sell very well…so think outside the box. And remember – many places require a month’s notice or more, so start asking now! For more information, email Amanda McClanahan at amandamcclanahan@gmail.com.

FOM’s Free Screening of Most Likely to Succeed: Wednesday, February 24th at 8A and 6P

Friends of Montessori is sponsoring two screenings of the educational documentary Most Likely to Succeed on February 24th at 8AM and 6PM.
