START WITH A BANG KICK-OFF
We are looking forward to a great 2016-17 year at Wilson Montessori, and WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The Wilson Montessori PTO plays a critical role in the education of our students by funding important aspects of their educational experience at Wilson. This year, donations will fund important programs, including:
Music Class - $22,000 NEW!
Science Class - $22,000
Classroom Supplies - $30,500
Wilson Wonderground Maintenance - $11,000
Montessori Certification for New Classroom - $11,000
Middle School - $5,000
Staff Appreciation Events - $5,000
Field Trips - $5,000
As you can see, the PTO has a big impact on your child’s education at Wilson Montessori!
The Start with A Bang! campaign asks families to show their support for Wilson early in the school year by giving a much appreciated donation by October 28th. These early donations allow the PTO to fund its commitments with confidence. This approach also eliminates the need to sell things door-to-door like wrapping paper and popcorn!
All of our Wilson Montessori Families are part of the PTO, so it is important to get contributions from as many families as possible. We hope that you will be as generous as you can, but any amount will help. Strong participation is viewed favorably by foundations and corporations as the school seeks further funding.
All families that contribute to the Start with a Bang! campaign by October 28th will receive a free dress pass for each child and will be recognized on the Wilson PTO website. Thank you in advance for your generous support!

EARLY DISMISSAL IS TOMORROW - WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21!
WILSON FAMILY CAMPING
Join other Wilson families at Martin Dies Jr. State Park for fun and adventure at our annual campout. Come for the whole weekend or just the potluck dinner on Saturday night. There are hike and bike trails, a lake for swimming and fishing. $20 for one night, $30 for two nights. To download the flyer with more details, click HERE.

SUPPLY FEE REMINDER
A $45 supply fee is required for each student in all grades, payable to "Wilson PTO." The Wilson PTO banks and manages the money for our Wilson teachers. Please DO NOT buy any school supplies. Our teachers will purchase all necessary Montessori materials and supplies for the classrooms.
To pay, please fill out the supply fee form found in the flyer rack by the main entrance, include a check made out to Wilson PTO and drop the off at the locker labeled "PTO" by the school office (please put both the form and the check in an envelope); or you can pay online by clicking here. FALL FESTIVAL IS AROUND THE CORNER!
Interested in being part of this year’s Fall Festival fun? Join the 2015 Fall Festival Planning Committee. Both new and experienced parents are needed to help with planning for food, booths, sponsorships, volunteer coordination and more. Stay tuned in October for signing up to volunteer at booth on the day of the festival.
