Urban Harvest Work Day - This Saturday August 27th
Every year we clear out the vegetable garden with Ms. Irene Nava from Urban Harvest to prepare for the school year. Kids are welcome to participate! This is an family event! Please remember to bring, sunscreen, insect repellent, work shoes, hats, gloves and your favorite gardening tool. Water provided by the PTO. Hope to see you there!!
TIME: 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.
How to pay your supply fee?
No need to go to the store and purchase a bunch of supplies. Wilson Montessori school makes it easier for everybody. A $45 supply fee is required for each student in all grades, payable to "Wilson PTO." The Wilson PTO banks and manages the money for our Wilson teachers. Please DO NOT buy any school supplies. Our teachers will purchase all necessary Montessori materials and supplies for the classrooms.
To pay, please fill out the supply fee form found in the flyer rack by the main entrance, include a check made out to Wilson PTO and drop the off at the locker labeled "PTO" by the school office (please put both the form and the check in an envelope); or you can pay online by clicking here.

VIPS - How to volunteer for school activities?
Would you like to volunteer in your child's classroom, or attend a school field trip? You may do so but first make sure you are approved by Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS). If you need more information, click here to read all about it and to sign up.
If you already are approved from the previous year, please make sure you turn in your driver's license at the front office so you can be re-activated and ready to go!!
Open House/General PTO Meeting - Thursday September 1st
Join us for our Open House next Thursday evening. Come meet the teachers and learn about your child's classroom education! We will begin with a general PTO session in the school Auditorium where you will also get a chance to meet the PTO leadership team and find out how to get involved!
TIME: 5:30 P.M.
We would like to suggest that parents attend the Open House without their child (children).

Our August PTO meeting has been cancelled, but please join us for September's PTO Board Meeting on Wednesday, September 28th at 6:30PM.
